The Sovereign Wings of Hope Inc.

The Wings of Hope was founded in Uganda in 1981 and in USA in 2001. The organization was formed for the propagation and proclamation of the Christian Faith, based on the inspired and inerrant Word of God: The organization's focus of ministry is humanitarian service through programs that provide inclusive health care, education and community development programs for the elderly, disadvantaged children and orphans in Uganda; and to enhance the gospel outreach and charitable programs in Uganda, in East Africa. In the 1980's we were engaged in fighting communists by reaching out to the youth of Uganda with the gospel in school outreach. We were able to train over 20 Uganda students in American Universities here in the USA as future leaders. Many of them have returned and now hold high position in government, private and religious entities. The organization helped established the first hospice services to Jinja for the eastern region of Uganda where over 4 million people can now access end of life services. Today the hospice service cares for over 300 patients daily and ministers to 200 widows and orphans at the Bugembe Ministry.

Vision:

Our vision is to minister to the disadvantaged, the sick and the terminally ill persons of Uganda with our God given gifts, skills, talents and resources. In the process some may came to know Christ before they die. The organization was formed for the propagation and proclamation of the Christian Faith, based on the inspired and inerrant Word of God (perhaps: as Jesus commanded us in Scripture.; Representing Christ through humanitarian service that delivers health care, education and community development programs to the elderly, disadvantaged children and youth (orphans) in Uganda; and enhancing gospel outreach and charitable programs in Uganda.
